In 2025, overseas Filipinos sent home a record US$35.63 billion in cash — the padala year in 11 sourced numbers.

Every tile below is posted by the organisation named on it, on the date named on it. Money flows are from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas; the customs constants are the letter of CAO 01-2018 and the CMTA; the corridor cost is the World Bank; the box windows are what one US-corridor carrier posts.

Cash remittances have set a new record every year since 2022, reaching US$35.63 billion in 2025 — up 3.3% on 2024.

The annual line below is the BSP's own full-year total, straight from its cash-remittance table; the year-over-year percentage is computed here from those totals, and labelled as such. The second view is the month-by-month series — every December stands above the months around it, the peak the padala calendar is built on.

The United States is booked as the single largest source of 2025 cash remittances, at 39.7% of the total — a figure BSP itself says overstates true origin.

The bars are the BSP's posted country-of-source values in US dollars, 2024 beside 2025. The percentage on each row is that country's share of the annual total, computed here and labelled so. Read the sidecar before you read the US bar.

On US$200, total cost across the seven sourced US→PH products ranges from 0.58% to 4.46% — and the fee is only part of the price.

Each bar is one product's World Bank total cost, split into the up-front fee and the FX margin — the gap between the market reference rate and the rate actually applied. A $0 fee can still carry a margin; one product's rate beat the reference, a credit shown in words rather than as a bar.

Same products, same vintage; the % falls as the amount rises because much of the fee is fixed. Walmart2World's FX credit exceeds its fee at US$500, so its total is a small net credit — see the numbers table.

Global context — not a US→PH quote

The World Bank's global average cost of sending US$200 was 6.36% in Q3 2025 — a worldwide average across every corridor it prices, well above what the US→PH products above charge. It is context, not a rate for this corridor. World Bank RPW Issue 54 · checked 3 Sep 2026

Speed does not track cost: 5 brands here sit in more than one speed band, depending only on how the money is received.

Rows are the World Bank's six standardised speed bands, fastest first; columns are the receiving method. Each cell names the brands the site can source in that band and method. The bands are calendar time, not business days — and a brand that appears twice is not contradicting itself: its cash payout and its bank payout are different products.

A US-corridor box posts 30–45 days by sea and 3–7 days by air — and no UK courier publishes a UK→PH window at all.

Every window here is a posted range to Metro Manila. The Philippine provincial tail and Bureau of Customs clearance are separate stages that add time on top — read them below, not folded into a single "X days" figure that no courier actually posts.

4 of 6 posted courier box tiers already exceed the 200,000 cm³ customs volume cap in raw outer dimensions.

Every tier's volume is computed by this site from the courier's own posted inches (arithmetic in the numbers table), then set against the one hard size limit customs publishes — 200,000 gross cm³ per box, CAO §3.2. That several "jumbo" tiers sit above it in raw dimensions is stated as two sourced facts side by side, not adjudicated here.

Philippine banks close for about 4 days over Christmas (Dec 24–27) and 5 days over New Year (Dec 30–Jan 3) — a bank-deposit payout that misses its cut-off posts on the reopen date.

Read the strip as receiving-side, Philippine banking days. Cash pickup and e-wallet payouts are less exposed to a closure than a bank deposit, which needs the recipient’s bank open to post. Dates are the 2026 proclamation; Jan 1 2027 is a permanent statutory holiday shown to complete the year-end gap.

One vintage (collected Aug 4–21, 2025). A negative margin means the product’s rate beat the World Bank reference rate for that collection.

As of Jul 2026, Philippine headline inflation ran 6.2% year-on-year and food 5.3% — the yardstick for whether a fixed padala still buys what it did.

The reader’s real question is whether a fixed padala buys what it did last year. Below is the PSA’s own headline and food inflation, month by month. Some months have no PSA capture — the line breaks there rather than guessing across the gap.

A box cleared in Manila still travels up to 6 more days to reach Mindanao — the final-mile tail a “to Metro Manila” figure hides.

Two geographies meet in this corridor: where a box lands inside the Philippines, and where the senders live in the UK. Neither is drawn as a shaded map here — see the note on why the data doesn’t fit the map component cleanly.
